Free the Doves

This is a phrase my little brother uses a lot when he's feeling anxious.  He'll say it's time to free the doves and he imagines a flock of birds flying out of his chest and into the sky.  With Mercury in Aries and soon, Uranus in Aries, we might need to free the doves as well.

It's going to be much harder now to hold back in terms of expressing our thoughts and feelings.  We may feel a jittery, feeling inside as situations around us challenge us to stay cool or break loose. I've gotten so many calls this week about work situations and struggle with authority.  This space is going to come front and center for many of us over the next few weeks as Aries urges us to find more space and freedom to implement our creative vision.

A part of me wants to say, let loose and say what you feel but another part wants to urge caution.  We are like lightening rods right now, picking up on the subtle vibrations of energy all around and needing to find expression.  There may be other ways to get the frustration and irritability out, without creating a fire that's hard to put out.

Now is the time for movement!  Stay in motion and if it helps to visualize a flock of doves in your chest that are being set free, DO IT.  There's nothing wrong with burning a bridge or two, just slow down long enough to make sure you don't need said bridge anymore.

This week in the Stonestreet Cafe, I'm welcoming writer, musician and the creator of yoga street wear, to the Stonestreet Cafe to talk about the archetype of the MUSE.  We're going to tell stories, talk about creativity, how to stay inspired and have a blast.  Tune in to the Cafe Thursday at 6pm PST/9pm EST at
